Annual Spring Conference

Annual 2025 Pohms

POHMS is headed to the Southwest!

Exploring a New Interactive Sponsorship Experience for Our May Conference

We are excited to share that we are exploring the introduction of a Reverse Expo in conjunction with CHOC at our upcoming May Conference. This innovative format is designed to create meaningful, one-on-one connections between oncology providers, practice leaders, and our valued industry partners.

Unlike a traditional exhibit hall, a Reverse Expo features structured, scheduled conversations, allowing participants to engage in focused discussions around solutions, challenges, and opportunities impacting oncology practices today. This model prioritizes quality interactions, efficient use of time, and mutual value for both attendees and sponsors.

As a nonprofit organization, this initiative also supports our mission by generating revenue to help offset operating expenses and travel support for conference participants, while recognizing the time and expertise of providers and office managers who take part.

We are currently assessing interest and feasibility and welcome early feedback from both attendees and sponsors. More details will be shared in the coming weeks as plans develop.

About

Holy Guacamole...Lets Taco 'bout a Spring Conference!

We’re excited to announce that our upcoming Spring Conference will be held in Arizona for the first time. With several of our practices located in the western region, this event will be especially valuable in bringing together our teams from both the West and the East.

For our pharmaceutical partners, this conference presents an excellent opportunity to connect with new members, strengthen existing relationships, and expand your network across our growing organization.

We look forward to your participation and to a successful event for everyone involved.

REVERSE EXPO INFORMATION

We hope to see new faces from many of our practices, including those out west! This is the perfect opportunity for you to meet the POHMS and CHOC board members.  We will host a welcome dinner on Thursday, May 14.  Time away from your practice and family is a significant challenge, so we will lesson the financial burden.  POHMS has an annual educational grant for $750 to use towards travel expenses.

We are also hosting a reverse expo for the first time. This unique format gives you the opportunity to remain stationed at a designated table while industry representatives rotate to you. This structure is designed to create meaningful, focused conversations that support collaboration, innovation, and improved patient care across community oncology.

We welcome participation from physicians, PAs, NPs, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, managers, directors, administrators, nurses, and other office staff. Your voice and expertise are invaluable to the success of this event.

An honorarium will be provided for participating physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, administrators, nurses, and staff. In addition, travel expenses will be reimbursed to ensure your ability to attend comfortably and conveniently. POHMS will book the hotel room for arrival on May 14 and departure on May 16. Up to $500 will be reimbursed for airfare.
